Everyone should have a due diligence checklist and simple is not better. The issue is as multifamily investors many issues can trip us up. If we don’t check the roofs, we can end up with huge unexpected bills. If we don’t check the rent and sales comparables, investment goals may be impossible to meet.
Every investor or principal managing investment should assure that a thorough due diligence is completed for the project.
